Demands of bed linen 'require smart storage'
Published: 09 April 2009
Good hosts will know that everyone who visits their humble abode to stay the night will need fresh bed linen. But where do you keep the bedding? Smart storage is the answer, an interior designer emphasises.
If you have guests staying the night, then you're going to need bed linen - but where can a person put it if the rooms are already cluttered as it is?Fear not, says Katrina Burroughs of the Times, a woman who thoroughly recommends the use of smart storage in the bedroom to keep the likes of bedding, comforters and duvet covers tucked away and safe.
She said that clutter is sometimes necessary in bedrooms whether it be bed linen or prized possessions, so people need to think outside the box - or think to get one - to store their homewares.
Things for under the bed are always recommended, the expert adds, with discreet drawers also being praised.
Advice from Ms Burroughs follows news that Cindy Crawford, one of the world's premier supermodels, is launching a line of bed linen in conjunction with American firm JC Penney.
