People 'must think before decorating'
Published: 27 April 2009
Although it may seem like obvious advice, one interior designer has adopted a low-cost, high-style strategy to decorating, no doubt factoring bed linen and curtains into his theory of "quantum design".
One man's advice was enough to adjust his son's way of thinking when it came to interior design, with the offspring in question now promoting a "low-cost, high-style" approach to decorating.Frank Fontana, that very son, told the Chicago Sun-Times that his approach to implementing the likes of bed linen and curtains into his home is to set the mood of his room before using the items to create it.
He continued: "So in order to truly appreciate a decor item, you must understand that item thoroughly, from its function in your life down to its organic makeup."
Mr Fontana emphasised that through the energy that, for example, bedding can give a room, people will be able to make much more informed choices about their personal space.
Decor in a bedroom can also be reinvigorated through the use of simple paint schemes, according to Melissa Brunk of the Examiner, noting that it is also great to preserve one's budget.
