Best bedding is 'crucial' when covering mattresses

People who do not prioritise their investment in bed linen will not only be short-changing the shops but also themselves and their continued health, as bedding and duvet covers are great for health and happiness, it is said.
One expert will not let go of the importance of duvet covers and bed linen in the home, noting that it is crucial to a person's happiness that they only invest in the best.In a recent piece for the Scripps Howard News Service, Mary Carol Garrity argued that people must pay for the nicest sheets they can with the budget they have.
Noting how the likes of Egyptian cotton bed linen can really help the look and feel of the boudoir, she said: "There is nothing better than crisp white sheets tricked up with lovely trim because they look clean and fresh and go with every bedding ensemble."
In terms of designing the bed, Ms Garrity added that designers tend to pick one piece that sets the tone for the rest of the bed, adding that other kinds of fabrics, patterns and colours can be positioned around it to complement the rest of the look.
In a recent release from Pioneer Linens in Florida, it was argued that decorative accent pillows could be considered to be "works of art" and should be seen as focal points in homes which, in particular, have more simple and minimalistic decor.
