When losing weight, better bedding may be 'just the ticket'

Getting a better quality of bed linen in the bedroom may aid a person in their attempt to lose weight, as it is sleep that is truly necessary, it has been asserted.
Losing weight is something that may actually be governed by a proper sleep schedule over everything else, according to a new study.Leigh Anne Shapard, in a special article for the Log Cabin Democrat, explained that not getting involved with one's bedding will likely conclude badly as it starts weight gain due to the encouragement of hormones to fight it out in the body.
This is due to a fall in leptin levels that lead to a rise in appetite, while metabolism slows down and makes it much harder to digest what is being taken in.
Ms Shapard said of her own situation: "I'm setting a self-prescribed bedtime of 10 o'clock for the next few weeks to try this out.
"Not only will it surely help my frequent episodes of crankies, it may just help me lose the weight that I so desperately need to."
BioMed Central's journal Critical Care recently published a report by Fujian Medical University in China that found eye masks and earplugs could help hospital patients get a better night's sleep, thus improving their chances of a quicker return to full fitness.
