'Earth-friendly' bedding guide offered to buyers The importance of earth-friendly bedding has been stressed by a green-promoting website, giving handy hints along the way for bedroom buyers.

River Wired, the online resource, noted that choosing the right organic material for bedding could be annoying, but looking for the bed linen's credentials was not difficult.

Secondly, natural dyes should always be chosen for bed linen and to avoid otherwise "harsh treatments", with the website adding that bedding lovers should look for "veggie or mineral dyes".

"Bedding that requires extra special care can waste your time, and it can cost more in the long run."

Plenty Magazine also emphasised the goodness of organic bedding, providing comfort to people in the knowledge that the fabric was dyed without "a bunch of chemicals".
