Bed linen quality 'important when choosing sheets'

A recent report has emphasised the importance of good quality bed linen when choosing sheets for your bed and noted, in particular, the luxury of Egyptian bedding as duvet sets and bed throws.
A reporter has stressed the importance of investing in a good night's sleep through the purchase of good quality bed linen.Writing on Canadian housing website Record New Homes, Les Broszkowski emphasised the requirement of comfortable bedding, adding that many may feel intimidated by the choice of bed linen and duvet sets on offer, making it harder to single out the best option for them.
Kelly Driscoll, an interior decorator and bed linen specialist, highlighted the fact that a person will get what they pay for in terms of quality with bedding.
She added: "The key is the quality of the cotton used for the bed linen.
"Fine bed sheets are made of long staple Egyptian cotton. It is durable and the bed sheets feel luxurious to the touch."
The Economic Times of India noted that alongside bed linen and duvet sets, a good quality bed will last ten years before the mattress must be replaced.
