Popular ship embraces Egyptian cotton

A popular cruise liner has selected Egyptian cotton as its choice of bed linen, using the luxurious bedding throughout the entire ship, whose predecessor operated between the UK and Australia for over 25 years.
The well-liked Oriana, P&O Cruises' cruise liner which transported holidaymakers between the UK and the Antipodes, has embraced luxury after a two-year, multimillion-pound refit.According to e-Travel Blackboard, part of the refurbishment included the "most notable enhancements" of cabin areas, which now use Egyptian cotton to give passengers the highest-quality bedding available.
The "much-loved" Oriana, which sailed into Sydney for the last time in 1986, was replaced in 1995 with the introduction of a new vessel, which now transports visitors comfortably with high-quality bed linen to destinations such as Hong Kong, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and San Francisco.
P&O Ferries was established in 1837 and now boasts the largest fleet of cruise liners in the world as well as the most frequent freight and passenger services to Europe.
