Published: 03 August 2009
Students heading off to university next month are being urged to carefully consider their choice of bed linen for their new room.
As preparations are being made for starting university, students are being reminded not to overlook one important element - their bedding. With a lot of fashionable items to choose from, they should be wary of going overboard, warns the Democrat and Chronicle.
The first thing to consider is the size of the bed linen required, as furnished halls or houses may not have standard single or double beds.
Students may also want to take a favourite pillow or bed throw to help them avoid homesickness, the news provider continues.
If unsure of exactly what you will need, take the essentials and buy other bedding when you get there, it adds.
American retailer Bed Bath & Beyond also suggests students choose new bedding for their university accommodation wisely - perhaps opting for colours and styles to make a statement and reflect your personality.
