Turtle joins Courtney Love under the covers

Courtney Love, who is perhaps best known for her strange or shocking behaviour, decided to calm both herself and the craziness of her life down by bedding down under her duvet cover with what appeared to be a turtle.
The latest snaps of Courtney Love online show a more intimate side of the singer and actress, who decided to bed down with something particularly strange.In the shots, the former wife of Kurt Cobain pretended to sleep while a model turtle rested on her forehead for no reason that's immediately apparent; while the perplexing creature looks real initially, the fixed legs and head are a dead giveaway that the critter is merely plastic.
Courtney, who made herself famous with her hit song Celebrity Skin with her band Hole, stuck the photos of her under the bedding on Twitter this month, which has also served as a battleground for free speech over the last few months.
Still, this isn't the be all and end all of Courtney, who showed her compassionate side on the streets of SoHo in New York this week, giving change and a cigarette to a beggar in passing.
