A kitten has had an adventure after climbing into a duvet cover.

Duvet cover proves not-so-good-a resting place for kitten Duvet covers are not only appealing to humans, as one household pet recently nestled down in some comfy bed linen.

Fudge, a six-week old kitten, saw a rather appealing duvet cover in her owner's tumble dryer and decided to dive right in.

The Weston Mercury revealed that her owner, Alesha Boon, did not realise her feline friend had ended up in the dryer and switched it on without a second thought.

It wasn't until she retrieved her washing that Fudge was spotted, giving Alesha something of a shock.

She recalled the incident to the paper: "My partner Ben said to leave her be as that was for the best, but I decided to try and do something.

"I started rubbing Fudge's tummy and she started breathing, but really fast."

It was recently revealed that a third of adults still sleep with a furry friend, but opt for a teddy bear rather than a pet.
