Budget hotel chain Travelodge is hosting a special concert to help people sleep better.

Hotel chain helps stressed workers get some rest After identifying some of the country's most sleep deprived workers, Travelodge is doing its bit to help them get some decent shut-eye.

Its 2010 Sleep Deprivation Poll showed that 75 per cent of the UK's workforce gets less than the recommended eight hours sleep a night.

Civil servants, teachers, bankers and doctors were among those identified as the lightest sleepers, so the budget hotel chain has come to the rescue.

It is running a Classical Siesta, which invites workers to doze off to the sounds of a live string orchestra while relaxing on reclining chairs.

"Feedback from the first Classical Siesta has been amazing, we had a selection of different professions attending the event which included: builders, city workers, secretaries, medical workers, housewives and dancers," revealed Shakila Ahmed, Travelodge spokeswoman.

She emphasised that by getting enough rest, workers will find themselves refreshed and revitalised.
