People are buying more bed linen and bed throws during the credit crunch in order to give their bedrooms a new look, it is stated.
Bed spreads and bed linen are a hot trend at the moment, according to one commentator.Sales of the products have risen in recent times as homeowners look to make smaller changes to their properties in order to revamp them, homeware buyer Rebecca Fanelli tells the Herald Sun.
"We find when things get tough, people will buy more decorative things rather than the core stuff - it is an easy way to update and refresh the home," she explains.
Bath linen, cushions and bed throws are also increasingly in popularity, Ms Fanelli adds.
People purchasing more bed linen and other bedroom items might want to ensure everything is well organised, one interior design specialist suggests.
