Copper bed linen 'is no cop-out'

Who thought bedding could help you look young? According to bed linen boffins in the US, the use of the valuable metal in the threads of duvet covers and pillowcases can zap wrinkles left, right and centre.
Copper has often been cited as a healthy thing to embrace in one way or another, with the world of bedding now accommodating a copper product to help with wrinkles.Reporting on the latest breakthroughs in bed linen, Kristi Gustafson of the Times Union said that SkinGlow - the new company which many may be cynical of - weaves copper ions into the threads of bedding and duvet covers to reduce fine lines, crow's feet and other wrinkles.
She alleges: "In addition to its beauty benefits, the non-sensitizing and non-irritating copper-infused fabric has natural deodorant properties to reduce body odour-causing bacteria, fungus and microbes."
According to Homeplace Spa in Las Vegas, copper bedding is regularly used as a non-invasive alternative to the likes of botox and collagen injections.
