Organising a bed linen wardrobe is 'essential'
Published: 23 December 2008
If a person wishes to keep on top of their bedding, they should organise their bed linen closet in order to keep bedspreads, comforters and any other products for their beloved boudoir, says one domestic diva.
An interior design specialist has recommended people organise their bed linen well in a wardrobe in order to keep on top of fresh sheets and washing.Lamara Williams of Raleigh News & Observer said that a common nightmare in the home arose when a person was unable to find a complete set of bedding, resulting in the reporter herself hunting down lost bedspreads.
Ms Williams' advice is simple yet effective: "If you have a linen closet, you can sort by set and label the shelves by room. Buy inexpensive book labels for the shelves; this will ensure you return everything to the same place."
eHow.com recommends that a person sort each item out into separate piles, such as pillowcases and blankets, before stacking them in small piles to avoid huge falling towers of bed linen.
