Updating a bedroom may be a lot easier on the pocket than one may think, it has been stated, with simple changes to colour schemes and designs saving money and time.Speaking in the Home Improvement Blog, Ben Weissman said that people need not buy new furniture but could simply spruce it up with the help of coloured duvet covers and bedding, particularly natural-looking tones to bring a room together.
He continued: "Pastels and earth tones are very classic colours, and adding splashes of bright reds, golds, greens, and blues can update the area without getting rid of the furniture style."
Last week, Marshall Watson of 27east said that a great way for homeowners to save money was for them to mix and match bedding they already had, creating new looks for a fraction of the cost.
