People who care about their health may want to invest in better bedding, according to a new report which highlights the things that can be avoided by good sleep from luxury bed linen.

Bedding investment can 'improve health' A new mattress may be the answer to many of life's problems, yet not many people realise the importance of good bedding in their lives, it has been asserted.

Breakfast show GMTV highlighted how a bed's mattress needs to be replaced as regularly as every eight to ten years, depending on the quality of their current asset, as it can have a hugely positive effect on health.

In an article on the show's website, it was explained that poor sleep is linked to a number of issues including diabetes, high blood pressure and a greater number of colds each year, while obesity is also a big risk with insufficient rest.

GMTV underlined how a number of celebrities and doctors promote sleep as a major part of their diet, including Jennifer Lopez, who credits ten hours of sleep on her luxury bed linen as her way of staying beautiful.

One place which may not see too much sleep despite luxury bed linen this month is the Big Brother house, which will accept a number of famous faces to the fold and treat them to a hell-themed home for a fortnight.
