Bedroom furniture can 'give a room some real personality'

People decorating their pad this holiday season or after the Christmas sales may want to add some new luxury bed linen and bedroom furniture, with the latter not needing to match to look great.
People who know the benefits of luxury bed linen in changing the overall look of a bedroom may want to add to it with an investment in bedroom furniture.Scripps Howard News Service's Rosemary Sadez Friedman said bedrooms must have plenty of character and that getting items of furniture for the boudoir that do not match one another could be the best way to do this.
Ms Friedman said that while a nightstand could be matched with a dresser, the bed's headboard is best serving as a standalone piece, being complemented well with beautiful bed linen such as a duvet cover.
"Matching nightstands are OK, but the dresser and headboard should be of a separate yet complementary and comfortable look, rather than being a part of the rest of the nightstand suite," she added.
Earlier this month, Sara Quinlan of Associated Content said that by using a duvet cover, people can express themselves in their bedroom's decor.
