Using luxury or Egyptian cotton bed linen with crazy patterns can really bring a lot of personality to the bedroom, according to a design expert who believes bedding is central to design.
People wanting to truly push the boundaries of design need to consider a purchase of wallpaper and bed linen to match such a design, according to a mogul of interior decoration.Shelterpop's Tisha Leung described the process of 'pushing the envelope' in the bedroom through the use of vivid patterns, while playing other assets of furniture in the boudoir against the arresting bedding.
The brighter the colours on the wallpaper and bed linen are, the more important it is to use such assets as bedside tables, lamps, headboards and other wooden delights against it.
A gentle duvet cover to go over other bed linen may be in order, though only to frame the brighter offerings from the bedding.
If it's a teenager's room, the inhabitants need to have as much of a say in the design of their personal space as this is the foundations of individuality, according to an interview by SBLive.com with Sarah Lynam of PBTeen told SBLive.com.
