Cheryl Cole top of the chart for celebrity interior tips

When it comes to choosing bedding or other facets of a bedroom, people are most likely to take their advice from Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell, according to a new poll.
Most people in the UK are not completely happy with the interior design of their homes, according to a new poll.The survey, carried out by Mira Showers, discovered that four out of every five people would like to improve the inner feel of their houses, with a number happy to consult a celebrity when choosing their home furnishings such as bed linen, textiles and fabrics.
And it is a two-pronged attack of the X Factor judges which holds the top two positions, with Cheryl Cole topping the poll with 19 per cent of votes, followed by none other than the high-trousered Simon Cowell in second place.
However, if bed linen choices must be made by a celeb, the top three people who will least likely be consulted are Katie Price - who gained 27 per cent of the vote - while the Queen and supposed interior design mogul Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen take second and third place.
Laurence is perhaps best known for his spots on Changing Rooms, with a number of his projects being particularly shocking in the eyes of returning families.
