Those wanting to inject style and class into their bedroom may want to opt for embroidered bed linen, as one writer believes the look of the bedding can enhance any space they are used in.
An American interior fashion specialist has highlighted embroidered bed linen as one of her top four investments for a house hoping to inject class on a budget.Mary Carol Garrity of the Scripps News Service spoke of her delight at the range of embroidered bedding and table linen available on the market today.
She said: "I have a soft spot for old linens, especially those that sport dainty handwork."
Ms Garrity added that a set she picked up is both "understated and lovely, featuring simple floral motifs on natural linen fabrics", which she says exhibits the qualities one should desire from their embroidered choice.
According to the Barcelona-based Linens Forever, people should never soak, boil or scrub embroidered linen, while making sure to remove any marks or stains while they are still fresh.
