People wanting to make their bedroom more of a selling point for potential buyers aside from using luxurious bed linen such as Pima or Egyptian cotton may want to invest in an ensuite bathroom, according to one interiors expert.
People aiming to sell their home should consider getting ensuite facilities, one interior design expert has stated.Reporting for the Sunday Times, Cherry Maslen said that due to falls in property prices, people are finding ways to make their house more attractive.
She said that the ability to use the loo in a bedroom is a great thing to have, noting that a house can go up in value by five per cent after an investment of as little as £2,000.
"A competent DIYer could do the flooring, tiling and painting to keep costs down. Plumbing and probably electrics are best left to the experts," Ms Maslen continued.
People may want to buy a nice comforter and great Egyptian cottonbedding to sell the house more easily through good first impressions.
Frosted glass could be used instead of walls when creating an ensuite, according to Channel 4, as it gives the impression that it is much bigger than it may be, as well as providing the room with more light.
