Keeping linens stored is 'easier than you think'
Published: 20 February 2009
If some people are struggling to think of a place to store their bed linen, they should consider putting bedding underneath its source - the bed. If not, why not try storing duvet covers underneath the mattress?
Many people may struggle to find a place to store their bed linen but it may be much easier to look at where it usually ends up - the bed itself.Candy Speigel and Cyndi Lieske of the Daily Press & Argus said that storage space under the bed is great as it keeps everything about the bed together.
The pair spoke to bedding expert Monica Keifer, who said: "Store the bed linens under the bed in a container. Or store them flat between your mattress and box spring. Basically you are pressing them that way."
It was added that a maximum of four sets of bed linen should be kept in the room - two for summer and two thicker sets for the colder seasons.
Earlier this week, J M Hirsch told Associated Press that in a bedroom's new design, bedding should be chosen first before any further touches as it covers a big part of the focal point of the living space.
