The use of bed linen is central to creating a romantic and respectful bedroom for couples, with the bedding tips coming alongside other tips to create a perfect and loving sanctuary for partners.
Taking the lead from ancient Indian scripts, a writer has given some key tips on how to make a bedroom the perfect sanctuary for couples, with bed linen featuring prominently.Editor of Malaysia's Star Online, T Selva, is the first disciple of the seventh generation Vasthu Sastra Master Yuvarak Sowma from Chennai, India, and as such has a key understanding of the country's feng shui techniques to help people better their relationships.
He said: "Bed linen should be in soft, pastel colours, like peach and light shades of maroon, orange and green."
The room itself should be square or rectangular as should the bed, with the man sleeping on the right side and neither person letting their head face the north and feet pointing south, as this can encourage bad sleep.
Young couples may also get an enhanced romance from newly-ironed bed linen, according to Lennie Bennett of the St Petersburg Times, who says it is a loving and desirable gesture.
