Bedding 'may save marriage'

Do you have a difference of opinion with your partner about the duvet? Well worry no longer - one entrepreneurial venture is hoping to deliver separate, yet connected, comfort for both.

Bedding 'may save marriage' Many marriages are fantastic, but often such wonderful situations can come to blows over the smallest of things... bedding included.

Aside from the age-old problem of someone hogging the blanket, duvets themselves can be a big problem, as they can be too much for some and too little for others, causing all kinds of headaches.

As a result, House of Bath has developed the perfect offering to slide into a duvet cover, providing one tog on one side and a different one on the other, delivering the warmth desired by each individual in the relationship.

Kay Hutcheson, marketing manager at House of Bath, said that a number of her customers suffer problematic nights of broken sleep due to temperature problems, though the new Partner Duvet product can solve this issue.

She added: "We are hoping that we can go some way to ensuring fewer arguments at a time when couples should be relaxing into a restful night's sleep!"

Earlier in the week, it was revealed by Sheilas' Wheels that 500,000 people wash their duvet cover just three times a year and most of them fit in the under-25 age group.
