Lighting 'necessary in bedroom'

While bedding, bed linen and duvet covers may be at the forefront of many people's minds during a bedroom redesign, many should also consider lighting alongside them, it is believed.
A major newspaper is pulling no punches when it comes to promoting the importance of good lighting in any space in the house which is to be redecorated.According to the Times of India, the mood of a house can be completely changed through the simple use of good lighting, adding that Indian consumers are "waking up" to lighting's importance in such a situation.
It was explained that both large and spacious rooms are more about the use of classic metals including brass, wrought iron, crystal and copper lights.
However, modern and simple styles are better for small spaces such as flats, as people can be sure that it will create a nice ambience, it was added.
Sylvia Putz, an interior design expert speaking to Metro Canada, said that teenagers need to be in the design process when it comes to their own room, which could include major decisions on both lighting and bed linen.
