Many people may 'overlook Egyptian cotton particulars'

The purchase of Egyptian cotton bed linen may seem straightforward enough, yet the investment is a potentially confusing one, according to recent comments from an expert.
Picking items for the bedroom may be straightforward and quite easy in many respects, but in others, it requires more close of a study before the right option is selected.Such is the case with Egyptian cotton bed linen, according to co-owner of Ungava Duvet Factory Outlets Desiree Tucker, who said that she has noticed how many people are spending more time and money looking for offerings available for their bed, and luxury bed linen is very popular.
"Some 300 counts - in Egyptian cotton which has longer and stronger fibres, for example - are softer, silkier and more durable than 1,000 thread counts of a lower quality fabric," she continued.
However, manufacturers have been known to double the threads in order to raise the count and while this is not necessarily dishonest, Ms Tucker added that it is something that is "often overlooked by consumers".
Theresa Rose, speaking to Helium recently, asserted that the first thing students need to buy before jetting off to university is bed linen, as it is always used and is needed to improve comfort and promote healthy rest.
