Bed linen should 'always be white'
Published: 23 January 2009
A pair of indoor fashionistas have recommended a number of changes to the bedroom, with bedding at the top of their list which they recommend to be in white only to avoid any headaches at night.
Those struggling to pick the sheets they want should go back to basics and stick with plain, bright bed linen as anything else is likely to keep them from sleeping, it has been stated.Rita Sirignano, working with Shelley Arnusch of the Calgary Herald, stated that she had problems with this situation herself and prefers bedding and duvet covers to be much easier on the eye.
She stated: "I've been kept awake at night sleeping on strangely patterned sheets - no matter what your bedroom's decor, I believe the sheets on the bed should always be white."
Ms Sirignano added that other things could serve as distractions in the bedroom and that people should back away from it as a place for work, exercise or entertainment, instead sticking to the traditional activities the bed provides.
People hoping to get away from it all in the bedroom should surround themselves with fresh and empowering scents, according to Janet L Hall of Overhall.com.
