Bedroom decor 'will have optimistic colour palette'
Published: 02 January 2009
Bedding and comforters may take on a brighter look this year as the predicted colour palette for the new year gives people a warmer and lighter style which they may choose to reflect in their bed linen choices.
Inspiring tones and bright colours may be the best way to get the most out of a bedroom's decor this year, according to an interior design specialist.Claire Magha, a writer for the Atlanta Interior Design Examiner, explained that colour experts at Pantone had earmarked such hues as fuchsia red, salmon rose and lavender for have-a-go stylists who may get their bed linen to match the new look.
She continued: "My favourite warm tone this year is Super Lemon, a fabulous yellow that, I predict, will increasingly come to dominate as we move into a brighter economy in the coming months and years."
People wanting to take good care of their bedspreads and comforters this winter may want to vacuum them occasionally to remove dust and lint, according to HowStuffWorks.
