People should avoid common mistakes in home decor and not invest in expensive fads when sorting out their bedroom, according to an interior designer.Kimberley Seldon told the Toronto Town Crier that to get the perfect mix of style, people should obey the ratio of four to one with stylishness and eclecticism, ensuring that bedding will not look massively out of place.
She added that a harmonious colour palette was one thing that could guarantee a comfortable-feeling room, adding that people should not fall for the common misconception that a white ceiling is good as it can dominate or clash with a darker colour scheme.
Rental Decorating said that shopping for bedding could be a fun experience when a person knows what they are looking for, emphasising the need for people to understand their decor before investing in bed linen.
