Bed linen is 'cheapest way to inject personality' in bedroom

If a person wants to give a room their own personal touch, an investment in colourful bed linen such as duvet covers and pillowcases could be the cheapest way to achieve this, it has been stressed.
The cheapest and most effective way a person can change the look and feel of their bedroom is to invest in some colourful bed linen and other bedding, according to an interior design expert.Jean Patteson of the Orlando Sentinel explained that throw pillows, rugs and bright patterned storage units are great additions to this bedding for people who don't want to smash their piggy bank to bring some life to the bedroom.
She said of the buying process: "We often buy emotionally but impulse-buying leads to mistakes. You end up with a mishmash of pieces that don't fit, so you buy more pieces - and that becomes expensive."
Ms Patteson asserted that people must start with core pieces such as the bed and desk.
If people want to give their bed a hotel-style feel to it, bedding experts at Lombok recommended an investment in Egyptian cotton as a means of giving that luxurious feel to the boudoir.
