Bedding and wall colour 'two easiest things to redecorate with'
Published: 16 July 2009
When redecorating a child's bedroom, a little rearranging could just do the trick - then again, changes to bed linen and wall colours can also add to the overall effect, with bedding getting the most out of a new design, it is believed.
Parents wanting to redecorate their child's bedroom ought to consider looking into a new colour scheme, an expert believes.By a simple and small investment in bedding, mums and dads will be able to inject colour into a room with the greatest of ease and without taking a major hit to the wallet, said Jessica Prussia of the Examiner.
To make it an even bigger change and to add to new bed linen, Ms Prussia recommended the use of paint on walls, though old furniture can also be given a breath of fresh air with a new coat of colour.
Finally, and in order to give children a bit more privacy, parents ought to consult their offspring on the layout of their room, allowing them to become more creative themselves, she added.
Earlier this month, the use of chocolate colours was recommended as it reminds people of comforting foodstuffs, according to Martha Li of divine.ca.
