Caravan beds 'ought to be updated'
Published: 02 July 2009
Many people love their caravans, yet one person feels that for the most part, the beds themselves are nothing short of Spartan and austere. Perhaps an investment in bedding may cure this, it is believed.
Caravans - one of many interesting British obsessions - are enjoying a popular spell at the moment, though many people may not be getting very good sleep in them.Writing for the Examiner, Lavonda Pflug said that many campers in such wheeled personal hotels ought to look into buying a new mattress, as it's easy to have a bed which can be pretty poor at supporting the sleeper.
She said that bedding fans may want to look into memory foam as it provides a great amount of comfort.
However, this can be an expensive investment which could persuade people to look at cheaper options such as mattress toppers.
Those planning on heading to somewhere a little more militarily exotic may want to get in touch with the Ministry of Defence for a mattress, with the government organisation developing bedding which can withstand rocket attacks.
