Chocolate colour scheme 'perfect for bedroom'
Published: 13 July 2009
Food is a great way to inspire a person's ideas when it comes to interior design, with one writer emphasising the chocolate palette as a way to bring life to the bedroom, whether it's used with bed linen, paint or other bedding.
When decorating the bedroom, a person ought to consider their favourite food as a way of inspiring their room, it has been said.Martha Li of women's magazine divine.ca explained that many people can feel hugely intimidated by the daunting task of decorating, yet by associating the task with comforting foods, they may make it much easier for themselves.
She said that it will evoke old and new memories alike and put the person in a relaxed state, using styles which are easily reflected in bed linen and bedspreads.
Ms Li emphasised: "So the next time you sit down to your favourite meal, take the time to examine the associated colours, shapes, textures, and aromas.
"You may just be looking at the colour palette and decor theme for your kitchen or living room!"
Earlier this month, Bed Bath & Beyond said that with the bed being the largest piece of furniture in the room, it needs to reflect the tone and style of the bedroom more than most other things.
