Dressing your bed is 'easy'

Using bed linen effectively is the best way to make a bed feel like that of a hotel, with duvet covers and pillows coming in handy when decorating the mattress-based plinth of comfort.
Many people go out of their way to recreate the feel of a hotel in their home, though if it's to be successful, the bed is the place to start, one expert has said.Lombok, an expert in bedding, explained that simple steps are needed, with the authority recommending a person first place a fitted sheet onto the bed.
They then need to take a flat bedsheet and place it on top, tucking in the edges at the bottom and sides of the bed, being careful to leave the top half of it untucked.
Adding a quilt or bedspread with a medium thickness to cover the sheet will easily complement this, Lombok continued, with people asked to bring the flat sheet neatly over the top and tuck all the loose edges in.
A pair of pillows and another two Oxford pillows in front of these will add extra comfort, with extra cushions recommended for even more luxury.
Lombok concluded: "For the piece de resistance, decorate with fresh lavender or rose petals."
Earlier this week, the company recommended the use of Egyptian cotton bed linen for pure comfort.
