Kylie Minogue always saw herself as a businesswoman from a young age, making her new bedding range a clear step in the direction she saw herself going in when growing up, a new interview reveals.
Following her dignified withdrawal from the public eye during her battle with cancer, Kylie is now back with a bang and hoping to promote her new designs in bed linen and perfume, it is revealed.Speaking to Scotland on Sunday, the pint-sized Aussie singer spoke of her step back into Britain's gaze after her successful battle with breast cancer.
Now in the frame of mind to go into more bottom-line sectors than her music career, Kylie explained that as a youngster, she always desired to be a businesswoman though was never quite sure what she wanted to sell - not until very recently.
Commenting on her jump into the world of bed linen, Kylie said: "I heard someone on the radio say, 'Linens are my drug.' And I thought, that's it.
"You reach an age where you think, wow, vintage linen. You spend enough time in your home, you may as well make it beautiful. It's your nest, your nest of love."
Recently, it was reported that Kylie got fiery with her current flame, Andres Velenscoso, by slapping him with a fan for making her wait outside while he stayed at a bar and got another drink.
