Wrong furniture, bedding, energy 'ruins sleep'

When upgrading the bedroom to make it more comfortable, a number of things must be taken into account such as bedding, feng shui and natural materials like organic cotton, it is believed.
Most individuals have a lot of ideas when it comes to upgrading their master bedroom, yet a number of factors must be at the forefront of a person's mind, claims one writer.Martha Phifer of the Orlando Sentinel explains that feng shui is an oft-overlooked factor in the energy levels of the bedroom and one which highlights issues which can lower this, such as a bed's headboards placed against a window or a mirror facing the bed.
After reading up about the ancient practice, people should also consider what to use as a fabric in their bed linen, with organic cotton being particularly praised by Ms Phifer, who says it "soothes skin".
Finally, duvet covers and bedspreads in a vintage style are coming back into fashion, she asserts, giving the house an "eclectic feel".
Organic cotton bedding was also praised by Mark Leevan of the Examiner this week, emphasising the fresh and clean feeling that people will get when they use it in the boudoir.
