Bedding down in top locations 'may be reality'

An organisation has contacted the general public to find where they'd most like to spend a night under the duvet cover, with bedding fans choosing a number of landmarks - all of which could host some lucky individuals, it is believed.
Buckingham Palace and Edinburgh Castle are the two places which are most coveted as possible hotel room destinations, according to a new survey.LateRooms.com found the two landmarks to be most popular, closely followed by the Eden Project, Downing Street and the Tower of London - and the company is in talks with each one to secure an ad hoc bedroom in each one, decking out a room in each one with fine bed linen.
"The UK already offers a wealth of hidden treasures when it comes to unusual hotels, B&B's or guest houses," said Jessica Reading, a representative for LateRooms.com.
She added that the company "wanted to go the extra mile" and give customers a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay the night in their favourite out-of-bounds destinations".
Ms Reading was quietly confident in the different places getting in touch to help the organisation let lucky individuals sample the luxurious mattresses and bed linen in such revered locations.
Earlier this month, the eco-friendly Eden Project revealed that it was going to pioneer the UK's first geothermal energy plant, using heat from granite outcrops to power the equivalent of a small town.
