Those wanting luxury, relaxation, comfort and a cooler option for the summer months should choose Egyptian cotton as it is absolutely perfect, whether it's used in shirts, bed linen, comforters or bedspreads, it is believed.
Summer is here, and what's more, there's no better way to enjoy the weather than to embrace the fantastic qualities of Egyptian cotton, one source believes. The Economic Times explains that Egyptian cotton - which is regularly used in bed linen - provides a number of great qualities, such as "sheer comfort, enduring finesse and luxurious softness".
Although many may see it as a pricier investment than the usual options available on the market, the "essential luxury" provided by the high thread count of the fabric is said to be an undeniably brilliant investment and one which will pay off over time.
The newspaper continued: "The most wonderful and satisfying characteristic of this cotton is that the more it is washed the softer it gets and it never develops nubbles or lumps or gives off lint."
According to the Egyptian Cotton Store of London, good quality sheets starts at around 180 threads per square inch, though true luxury is available above 200.
