People unsure of why they are unable to get to sleep at night or suffer from relationship problems may want to consider the use of feng shui in the bedroom, as the use of coloured bedding and other items could really help.
Many people may not look to ancient arts to centre themselves in the current climate and society, though one writer believes that each bedroom needs more good energy - attainable through feng shui.Becca Campbell, a marriage counsellor from the Examiner, explained that bad energy can be harboured in mattresses, bedding and the use of colour, explaining that the bed itself plays a huge part in a person's life.
She explained: "As you walk through the door in your bedroom, your relationship corner is the rear right corner. If possible, it's best to have your bed in this area."
Commenting on possible bed linen and bedspread ideas, Ms Campbell added: "The best colour for this area is pink, but red and white are okay too."
According to the World of Feng Shui, there is a number of buildings which, when working together, create a harmonious yin and yang.
It quoted examples in London, highlighting the careful landscaping of Canary Wharf and the water features of Jubilee Park.
