There are a number of iPhone applications to help people who struggle to sleep.
People who struggle to sleep could find there is an iPhone app to help them out, ABC News has suggested. It named its top ten applications to aid those who struggle to get some shut-eye, which include a self-meditation guide and sleep pattern monitor.
One of the suggested apps is called Long Deep Breathing, which promotes the idea of breathing more effectively when trying to doze off.
A person is required to follow the visual cues on the mobile phone screen when inhaling and exhaling, which are then gradually increased in length as the individual improves.
Another app recommended by the news provider is the Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock, which analyses sleeping habits and logs how often a person moves in their sleep.
This follows recent advice from the Idaho Statesman, which said people need to put together a routine for themselves if they struggle to fall asleep at night.
