Plain, white bedding should be the staple item in any bedroom, an expert has advised.

It also makes doing the laundry much easier, the expert highlighted, as people do not have to worry about matching up their duvet covers and pillow cases.
Colour-coordinated sheets are far too fussy, so simplicity really is key, the expert stated.
Leaving the bed unmade is also a great means of adding some interest to the bedroom, as Ms Quinn described well-made beds as "uptight and prudish".
