Preparation is key for a good night's sleep

People need to ensure they make the necessary preparations if they want to sleep well.
Preparing the mind for going to sleep is crucial if a person is going to get a decent amount of rest, it has been claimed.Winding down is just as crucial in everyday life as it is for an athlete preparing for a big competition, noted sleep expert Dr Nerina Ramlakhan.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, she emphasised that enjoying a warm bath or a hot, milky drink can go a long way when it comes to trying to sleep.
Decluttering the bedroom is also crucial, as in turn this will help untangle the mind and ensure the atmosphere is more conducive to sleeping, she continued.
"Experiment with the temperature in your bedroom, open windows, vary thickness of duvet and tweak the central heating up or down. The key is to keep warm in a cool room," Dr Ramlakhan highlighted.
It was recently suggested by Paris-link-home.com that the bedroom can easily be transformed by injecting a bit of colour and different textures.
