Although the rooms may be tiny at the Jane Hotel - with spaces of seven by eight feet available to the budget traveller - there is no shortage of luxury on the bed linen front, with duvet covers and other bedding using high thread counts for lodgers.

"Micro-luxury" offered by tiny-roomed hotel The basic essentials of a comfortable night's sleep have been highlighted by a budget hotel which offers "micro-luxury" to its visitors, it has been reported.

As a redevelopment of a low-price establishment created in the early 1900s, the Jane Hotel offers its customers a room measuring just seven by eight feet - just enough room for a bed and space to get changed, according to the Associated Press.

Despite this, it emphasised that the environment is not difficult to live in, with 350-count bed linen being top of the luxury additions, as well as a 23-inch flat screen LCD TV to accompany the beautiful bedding.

Luckily, a mirror and window come as standard in all of the miniature rooms in an effort to prevent people from getting cabin fever.

The hotel is famous for providing shelter to survivors after the Titanic sank in 1912.
