Curtains and duvet covers are the order of the day if a person wants to give their home a makeover for the sunnier seasons, it has been stated.Interior design Laura Cohen of yourfloors.co.uk said that heavy colours and fabrics needed to go in the house if it was to feel more airy and relaxing, with paler hues really making the place feel more comfortable in the lighter months.
She continued: "Start by switching your duvet cover or changing the cushions on the sofa. If your budget allows, you could also think about hanging new curtains throughout the house.
"You'll be amazed how these little touches instantly brighten up the room."
According to Simply Furnishings, a person needs to make sure they measure their window correctly and make sure their pattern and colour choice is not too intrusive or bland.
