Made-up bed linen 'helps reclaim bedroom'
Published: 05 March 2009
Messy bed linen can prevent a bedroom from being a place to relax and unwind so bedding should always be in pristine condition, it is advised.
Bedrooms can all too easily become a hive of activity and not the relaxing space they should be, one columnist warns.People often use the room as a space for exercising, watching TV and even eating, explains Heloise, but instead they should be concentrating on things such as bed linen.
Bed spreads and duvet sets should always be made-up, as this will help the room look more organised, she advises.
As well as this, people should clear dressers and desks from clutter and move exercise equipment to the corner of the room, Heloise continues.
Suggesting people sort out their bed linen every day, she adds: "Just a few minutes a day can make a big difference."
Earlier this month, the Sunday Monitor also suggested people should clean up their bedrooms in order to allow duvet sets to have an impact.
