New bedroom 'can make nights more pleasant'
Published: 16 March 2009
There are a number of ways to make the bedroom a more habitable, enjoyable place, including new duvets and new beds, according to one publication.
Those that are not truly comfortable in their bedroom need to address this problem as a new bed could make their nights a lot more pleasant, it is suggested.According to the Hexham Courant, a new duvet could bring some luxury to the space and for those that are really in the mood to splash out, they could buy an entirely new bedroom.
The publication believes that the bed is no longer merely a shelf for sleeping on and there are so many different types to choose from, including waterbeds or electrically-adjustable models.
A fresh look can be given to the room by other changes, like a new carpet, some different curtains or matching scatter cushions and duvet covers, the news provider asserts.
It adds that practically anything is a possibility for those that want to improve the amenities of their home.
Researchers recently reported that people who sleep below six hours a night appear to have a higher risk of developing impaired fasting glucose.
They revealed their findings at the American Heart Association's 49th Annual Conference on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention - and this may hint that people should invest in some new bedding for a more relaxing night's rest.
