Shilpa is 'no stranger to choosing furnishings'

Shilpa Shetty, the Bollywood actress made famous in the UK for heated arguments in the Celebrity Big Brother house, has moved into a new pad in Surrey with her partner, stating that she chose the curtains, bed linen and other soft furnishings herself.
Although many people with money may be happy to get high-priced interior designers to sort out their house upon purchase, one Bollywood beauty takes pride in doing it herself.Shilpa Shetty, who came into the public eye through Big Brother, has recently moved to the country with millionaire husband-to-be Raj Kundra, telling the Daily Mail that the curtains, soft furnishings and bed linen are all her choice.
The actress and dancer also showed off a huge diamond ring on the engagement finger, though she asserted that it wasn't as cut and dry as that.
She explained: "In India we do things differently - the engagement is left until just before the wedding. But we are planning to get married and it's wonderful to know this will be our marital home."
Rumours are currently rife that Shilpa plans to join Eastenders in the future, with the star apparently in talks with the show's directors.
