Wool is 'great bedding material'
Published: 12 March 2009
For those who are unsure of what to look for when getting bedding in the future, wool has been recommended as a solid investment as bed linen and comforters made from it are warm but able to wick away moisture.
Wool is a particularly dependable material to get a good night's sleep with, according to a bedding manufacturer in North America.Canadian company Natura stated that with the "spring forward" coming up and British Summer Time around the corner, many people are looking to get some decent sleep with the best bed linen possible.
It said that wool is great for duvet covers, comforters and pillows as it has a lot of good qualities for changes in warmth in the boudoir.
"The reason is simply wool - this misunderstood yet miracle fibre - naturally helps regulate body temperature keeping you comfortable and dry while you sleep," Natura added.
Bedding materials may not be an issue for many people however, as it was warned by Canadian scientists at Universite Laval that insomnia may be a persistent condition for many people, recommending they consult a doctor if issues continues.
