The summer should bring a change of bed linen colours
Homeowners should be thinking about bringing cool colours into their bedrooms by picking new bed linens, according to one expert.Writing for mydigitalfc.com, Anuradha Adhikary claimed that people will need to adapt to the heat of the season and alter the way the home looks will make a big difference when the sun comes out.
"Furnishing fabrics can change the look of your décor by just altering the fabrics and colours of your upholstery like cushions, bed linen and curtains," she explained.
Ms Adhikary added that drastic changes do not have to be made to radically alter the home, advising that cool colours, which include white, baby pink, light blue and pastels, will be perfect for hot days and never go out of fashion.
Sasha Stricker, president and creative director of decorateITonline, recently commented that a growing number of families are trying to pair up their Egyptian bed linen with environmentally-friendly furniture, such as bamboo beds.
