Beds 'deserve extra cash investment'
Published: 01 March 2010
When buying a bed, people should ensure that they are putting in the right amount of money into their investment, whether it's the frame, bedding or mattress, it is believed.
Spending a good amount of money on a bed is not a decision that people will regret, though they may if they underspend, according to a new report from a national newspaper. The Daily Telegraph said that when buying things for the bedroom, whether it's a mattress, bedstead or bedding generally, the sheer variety of items available can confuse many, though this is easily overcome due to the amount of advice available to prospective buyers.
"A crude bed will give gyp for less than ten years; a quality bed will support soundly for 30," the newspaper explained. "Spending thousands on a good bed could be the healthiest investment of our lives."
Silvio Berlusconi recently proved that when it came to bedding, money was no object, making what many saw as an unsurprising purchase when investing in the bed that used to belong to Napoleon.
